Thanks for the link John – I too was upset at American Apparel’s changeof cut to their shirts. I’ll definitely be ordering up a No Sweat tee (or 10) if they fit me right.

In relation to my last post on comic books, I keep finding the more I look at different mediums and styles of Art, the better my graphic design becomes and the more creative risks I’m willing to take. I knew that before, but never got in to searching for other forms of Art as much as I am now.

Related to that is the amazing work being done over at flight404.

I wish I had the time, talent, and patience to do work like this:

It’s not that I haven’t been open about it before. But I am a bit hesitant of letting people know I’m still a comic book geek.For years I’ve been amazed at the comic’s ability to indicate vast changes in story with the use of mesmerizing layout and simple design elements. 

Applying this to a web page has already been discussed. It’s good to know there are other Comic Geeks among us. 

I was out of the swing for a little while, but now I’ve gotten back into the comics a bit.

I think this spread from “Ultimates 3″ from Marvel is just awesome. This book is just amazing.
