LSD Tunnel

LSD Tunnel in Detroit

In Detroit’s NWA terminal there is an extremely long tunnel between the A and B/C gates.

We call it the LSD tunnel. It’s an art installation that plays trippy music and changes color to the music. It’s hard to walk down the tunnel as the music and colors disorient you. I’m surprised more people don’t miss their flights.

I’m also going to open source my Art – it wouldn’t be 2009 without GPL’d binary files on flash drives attached to the back of art. My signature is the only part of the art I won’t GPL.

Tomorrow, 6:30 sharp, at the Washtenaw Community College, Ann Arbor, Michigan, I’ll be speaking at Refresh Detroit. The talk will cover the transition from print to web design, the differences between the mediums, and how to utilize your print design skills when dealing with the web. There will be lots of Q&A, so bring your thinking caps.

I’m super excited to be able to meet everyone at Refresh Detroit and honored to give this talk. See you there!
